We are currently looking for Sponsors ..

We are currently looking for major sponsors of the N21 Festival. As far as we know there has not been an event on the The Green that has joined the two parts together with a huge celebration in living memory.

So we may be about to make history !

We understand that we are living in difficult financial times, but we believe this is a unique event that will benefit local businesses, restaurants, pubs and organisations.

    Be part of it !

To become a sponsor of the event - contact us

    The N21 Festival - FAQs

    What happened to 2011 ?

We honestly believe that it will take this long to organise a successful, worthwhile and safe event in Winchmore Hill in 2012.
We will still be doing the Art sale at The Kings Head in May 2011.

    What about the Olympics ?

The Festival is in June 2012 and will miss the Olympics.

What do you have in mind for the Winchmore Hill Festival ?

We are open minded, but we would like to see an event on Winchmore Hill Green involving local businesses, schools and the community, featuring local musical talent and even fireworks - who knows?  We would also like to see a week of events that could be publicised together to support business, schools, pubs and restaurants and local charities. These sort of events occur in may small towns across the country - so why can't we do it ?

Who has already expressed an interest ?

We have discussed the idea with a number of local businesses and organisations and all have responded positively to the idea.

How can I be involved ?

Join the Mailing list (click on the link on this page) and we will be in touch - it's going to be a great week and a fantastic event on Winchmore Hill Green at the end of it.

Can I have a stall on the Green on the Final Day ?

We will be allocating space to local businesses and organisations in N21 on a first-come first served basis when we have determined the best layout on the Green. Please sign up to the Festival Mailing List to be kept up-to-date with the latest news.

Meeting held for Businesses on The Green

On February 9th 2012 the N21 Festival held a meeting at the Kings Head just for the businesses surrounding The Green. The N21 Festival organisers felt it was the right thing to do to give those most affected by the week-long activities the chance to hear about everything, first-hand.

We have to say it was a bitterly cold and icy evening and later it began to snow heavily, so a very big thank-you to those people that came out.

Hugh Humphrey explained the events for the week as well as details for the celebration on Saturday June 23rd -  which is being called the "Fancy Fair" , taken from Henrietta Cresswell's book.

Ann Humphrey and Chris Walker were able to answer questions raised by the business poeple that attended.

In a very positive meeting, ways of sponsoring the festival, as well as promoting N21 businesses,  were discussed and a number of initiatives were decided.

The N21 Festival is really looking forward to working with businesses around Winchmore Hill Green to ensure very happy, profitable and safe Festival in 2012.

N21 Festival Organisers meet Boris Johnson, Mayor of London

Ann Humphrey and Marina Palmer, two of the organisers of the N21 Festival met Boris Johnson recently at a lively fund raising meeting. Ann and Marina did their best to get the N21 Festival noticed in the press melee as Boris is known to be a keen Historian and obviously loves London..
