Celia Reynolds was born in New Barnet - a long time ago - but has lived in Winchmore Hill for over 40 years ... She is not a professional artist but has always been interested in the arts generally, predominantly theatre, and has acted and directed from a young age.
Although she took art to A level, a working life took over, firstly in book publishing, then advertising, and it wasn’t until she retired that she took up her brushes again and started attending a watercolour class. She also joined the Enfield Art Circle and was accepted as an exhibiting member. During the subsequent years she has exhibited in several local art shows and has been lucky enough to sell a number of pictures.
In addition to watercolour, Celia produces work in pastel, a medium she is very fond of, and only last year started to dabbling in oils, which looks like becoming her favourite way of working.
