Lewis Hazelwood-Horner at the N21.net Art and Design Exhibition 2011
His art offers something new in the interpretation of art.
When so many artists are looking towards the conceptual and instillation art there is still a role for a figurative artist like Lewis to play in presenting a view of the world coupled with the skills he has learned.
His work aims to challenge the current perception that art is merely in the idea, but that it’s the execution, skill and craftsmanship that allows for the appreciation of that artwork to go on for much longer than the initial impact of that idea.
