The story of the 2010 Mute Swans and six cygnets in Grovelands Park

The Grovelands Swans produced six cygnets around the beginning of January 2010 and actually nested and brooded on the eggs on the island away from their natural threats - including humans.

As a regular user of Grovelands Park usually when walking Freddie and Oscar, my dogs, I am always aware of the different birds that I hear and have seen and I have for some time considered making a list of the different species which I hope you will find interesting.
