Title:
The Broomfield House Trust Annual General Meeting
When:
27.02.2012 20.00 h - 21.45 h

Description

The Annual General Meeting of the Broomfield House Trust will be held at 2000hrs on Monday 27 February 2012 at Christchurch Parish Hall, Waterfall Road Southgate (opposite the church). After the formal business of the AGM, there will (we hope) be an opportunity to hear from Mr Mike Brown, the LBE officer responsible for conservation, about the Council's latest scheme for the regeneration of Broomfield House. This scheme originated from the prospect of funding by the Mayor of London and proposes putting housing in the House and Stable Yard. The funding having been lost to the cuts, the question is - what next? The Trust does not find that a proper balance has been struck between community interest in the House as a public asset and the private interests in the new housing units proposed.
