You will be forgiven if you have never been to the The Orange Tree Pub in Highfield Road ...
After all, it is one of the best kept secrets of Winchmore Hill.

Steeped in history and full of character, one of the best real pubs in N21 carrys on it's day to day life without the glare of high street exposure or marketing campaigns.

In fact it is just a brilliant, traditional pub.
The thing is, it's a stones throw from Sainsburys, Green Lanes, N21 and is a pub that should be on everyones' must visit lists.
Why? Well, just try their fabulous Sunday roasts for starters. Not to mention their well kept cellar and large range of Real Ales and lagers.
In fact they have been in the Good Beer Guide five times in the last ten years, been commended on numerous occasions by Enfield in Bloom and quietly won the Pub of the Year Award.

It's great for the Summer with a secluded, child friendly garden, real ales changing on a weekly basis and excellent home prepared food, from an award winning Chef.

The owners have been running the pub since 1992 and believe in traditional values and with a friendly and generous approach to all that embrace The Orange Tree, it's no wonder The Orange Tree is in the Good Pub Guide year after year.

The Orange Tree is open every day from 12.00 and is bookable for Parties, meetings and get togethers on an informal basis, with excellent food provided.
On Saturday evenings in the Summer it has a Family BBQ in the garden and there is an active Golf Society, a pool table and two Darts teams that play in local leagues.
Overall The Orange Tree has something for everyone and the happy owners John and Marie Maher want to continue with their community pub as they have always done. One thing is certain, there are very few of these pubs left, and there is only one reason why this Pub remains brilliant and that is down to the owners.
Long may they continue.
