Broomfield House Palmers Green
Welcome to The Broomfield House Palmers Green homepage on N21.net

Thank-you for visiting the Broomfield House page on N21.net - although we are an N21 based website, we do not restrict ourselves to N21 - see our "About N21.net" page to understand why.
Quite simply we love Broomfield Park, as it is one of the most diverse and beautiful parks in Enfield, and Broomfield House is a part of that heritage. We want to assist in helping the people that care about the Park and the House to get the best from the current options available in 2010 -2011.
As many people know, the saga of Broomfield House has been ongoing since a fire destroyed the structure in 1984.
There is renewed hope that the House will be rebuilt after a successful bid by Enfield Council to The Mayor of London fund to regenerate old buildings for residential use. Nearly £6M is promised if the scheme proposed by the council can be agreed and passed through planning.
You may be new to the area and perhaps don't know much about Broomfield House or it's history, or you may be a hardened capaigner that is weary of yet another council proposal that is presented with limited consultation.
Whichever of these you are, please let us know if there is anything you want to see in this section or if you would like more information.
The image above shows the Architects model of the re-vamped Broomfield House. Note that the previous mock tudor front to the house that was put on in the 1920's will not be restored. A mock Georgian front will be restored as per the model.
